Millennium Golf Discs
Millennium has been the trailblazer in premium plastic golf discs. Millennium, established in 1994, was the first disc brand to introduce so called premium plastics. The company was founded by John Houck and Harold Duval but it is now owned by Dennis and Annetta Vahsholtz, and their three sons Jesse, Ned and Alex from Kansas.
In the 90‘s Millennium discs were quickly adopted by pro players around the world. The first team contract in Finland was made with Millennium discs. Legendary Nordic players like Jesper Lundmark, Timo Pursio and Jussi Meresmaa have played with Millennium’s discs. Omega SuperSoft putter is the disc that really made Millennium famous and it is still one the most relied putters out there. Omega’s rough surface and gummy plastic are practically made for the Northern Europe’s rugged conditions. Millennium was the first major disc brand to label its ”runs”, the manufactured batches, and some of the runs have become sought-after collectables.
Millennium’s discs are skilfully manufactured at Innova’s factory and Dave Dunipace is responsible for designing the discs.
