Exceptions to our shipping schedule, week 46
Our staff is attending our annual development days on Thursday and Friday (Nov 14-15). Due to this, our warehouse functions and customer service are closed from Thursday, Nov 14th until Sunday, Nov 17th.
In terms of order shipping and processing this means that orders placed by noon (EET) on Wednesday will ship out by Wednesday afternoon and orders placed after that time will be processed and shipped out starting from Monday, November 18th. Another factor than can currently affect the shipping times is the Finnish Postal Union strike. More info on that can be found here: posti.com/en/media/media-news/2019/strike-effects/
While it's practically impossible to assess the strike's impact on individual shipments, it's worth noting that all of our shipments are parcels, which are less affected by the strike than letters and some other shipment types. Additionally, all of our parcel labels can be sorted through automation, which should further alleviate the effects of the strike. If you wish to inquire about a shipment that has already departed from our warehouse, we recommend being in contact with Posti directly.
